Consider the preamble of the United States Constitution, 1787:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
It is my aspiration to help "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ... our Posterity."
I study economics, mathematics, and statistics at Columbia University. I am also a Research Affiliate at the Global Priorities Institute (University of Oxford), and received a grant for Progress Studies from Emergent Ventures (Mercatus Center, George Mason University).
I originally hail from Germany, though I came to the U.S. for college at 15.
